Yes! Heh, last night I was like, oh CRAP I have to send the assignments! But then I realized I don't cause we're all drawing for everyone. Yey.
Ending date of 8/8 seems easy to remember, but feel free to ask for an extension if that doesn't feel long enough. I know we're all busy!
I figure since we're all doing multiple drawings, we can make our own threads? Or just post them here, whatever you guys wanna do. This is kind of an announcement post but feel free to post the art in here!

OKAY SO, I'm going to post these as I finish them up (rather than all at once), because it's just a little easier that way (and I don't want anything to get lost in the shuffle of moving, haha!).
Ray: I love your entire character roster, but I just *had* to do a Pauli for you, because... I mean. Come on. The pinup and lingerie rounds at PE were some of my faves, and this woman has it ALL. I took a little artistic license with some extra lace in places, which isn't exactly "futuristic" Domme per se, but I was really taken with that one sketch where she has like... Medusa hair, and this was very inspired by that. I hope you like her!  |

Grinn - it was a really hard choice which of your characters to draw, but I just HAD to do Ando. He has my ENTIRE HEART right now, I swear. What a concept! An absolute short king. My own giant floofy cat isn't a Himalayan, but Ando reminds me of a tiny adventurer version of him. I couldn't resist, and I hope the affection is evident. <3

Ahh, yeah! Paulie looks amazing!! And don't worry, I think any style of lingerie would work for her. There's something kinda timeless about it and she tends to have a vintage look to her overall! Her expression is perfect, here, kinda like "I dare you" hahaha. She's supposed to be kind of a short/small person and you captured that really well. I think most of my drawings of her look too tall for some reason, I need to work on that. I also love how you styled her hair and just all of the little details. Ahh, thank you!! It's great to see some new art of her. It's been a while since I've drawn her, too. (can I put this on her character bio?)
And ahh, Ando also looking amazing!! I am also an Ando fan. <3 That expression is down right intimidating and looks super cool. I am now filled with a desire to see him kicking some ass.

And my last one, for Grungecat: human!Aubrey! Characters playing instruments are a challenge for me, so this was a fun one to do. I get the sense that bare feet might not be his standard MO since they're more a surfer aesthetic than grunge, but... if I'm being honest, I liked how the toes were coming out, so I kept them bare.  I hope he looks appropriately '90s grunge-y, nevertheless. <3  |

The other two are great too. You gave them both such amazing clothing. I really like the way you drew Aubrey's guitar and I think they both have a lot of personality and expression in their hands/the way they're interacting with their props.

He looks so good in this and so surffy grungy skilled guitar player. Doing his thing, charming because he Knows It god dammit. Ahaha!! This is so good. Eeeee!! His hair looks so nice. Ahhh. I'm gonna die here in a puddle Excuse me. Hahaha. Thank you so much!!
I'll likely get others posted/started once I get back. With my scanner.
BTW the guitar looks GREAT!!! Okay? Okay. I know how hard guitars are to draw and this is splendid!!

AHHHH!! I'm so happy it was worth interrupting your beach break for... AND that I was picking up what he was laying down, even unconsciously. And yes, I was totally trying to get across "grungy yet charming," because it seems very much like his vibe. So glad it works!! He was a lot of fun to do. |

Okay so I LITERALLY just opened this and went "oh. Oh oh oh. OH oh oh!" out loud. First: words for my baby. They look so awesome and PRETTY and I'm absurdly into them. THE EYES- I'm just dying over here, legitimately. Aff, and the sweepy windblown flower petals. I die! (THE ARMS! *fans self*) I'm making SO many happy noises over here and have no idea how I've managed to keep this comment coherent and avoid my standard Keyboard Mash so far. THANK YOU. My sweet beeb. You've done them so beautifully and I simply Cannot. <3 This is amazing and you have MADE MY DAY. Second: THESE OTHERS!!! Jackal looks SO badass! I love that you've got her fraying wires showing, and the perspective on that sword is just slaying me- it's such a hard angle to get right, but you totally nailed it. I'm also really impressed by the variety of textures, between the cloth and the skin and the metal- it's so obvious which components are which. And AUBREY! Way to completely put my guitar-picking hand to shame. This whole sketch has such awesome energy, and the sketchy quality reminds me a LOT of Grungecat's original work and drawings of him, so this seems really fitting! I LOVE the wildness of the hair and that intense expression. These are really fab. <3 |

Oh man, drawing people playing instruments... I don't think it matters how many times I do it, it's still a painful process, hahah. I definitely had to use refs for that one. And I don't think I responded to your Aubrey drawing! It looks amazing and natural and you aced the whole guitar-playing pose/guitar, in my opinion! Also his face and expression. His hand looks like it's strumming the strings which is just as likely as picking!

I MEAN this is extremely on brand for them and it's PERFECT. They honestly have a lot to fret about, which kind of results in a "resting angst face" situation. They're definitely CAPABLE of making other faces, but "moody" is kind of their baseline, so this works out excellently. |

Aaahh Ray I love these!! I didn't think about this until now but I think one of Jackal's old designs was what you drew me for our first trade back in the day :'). Anyway, totally adore how you drew her here. She has so much strength in her posture and I really enjoy how her hair is covering her more human looking eye. It feels like a still from a movie or something. I have to echo what Molly said about the wires showing and the angle on the sword. I think I probably say this EVERY TIME but I'm always amazed at all the little details you add even to sketches and how everything comes together to tell a story. Augh thank you ;; The other two look great too. Skara is gorgeous. The choker is so beautifully detailed and feels really solid and three dimensional. Aubrey is so dynamic. Man, I want to be wherever he's playing >  |
