I wanted to try drawing a costume I made for renfest one year. >:d Also wanted to practice drawing a coyote, haha. I dunno if this is actually supposed to be "me", but that's ok. Hoping to work on this more before the week is over!  |

Hoping to work on this more before the week is over! I love the sculptural quality to the parts where you've roughed in the lighting! you really make simple poses arresting with your solid grasp on volume, subtle little head/shoulder tilts, and all the incredible costume texture, visible even in a rough sketch like this. Hope you find time to finish this one. |

Wow, thanks! I dunno if I've thought about it as sculptural before, but I see it now. Maybe I'll keep that idea in mind while drawing, may make for interesting stuff. Thank you much for the observations and encouragement! I appreciate it o(≧∇≦o)

I don't really have characters anymore, but here's my dog RocketShip as a Cleric! oops I think i have to finish this picture now though, i asked my brother for input on the design because he runs a couple Pathfinder games. Now he wants to use it as a character in his game. lol.  |

yesss, that's great! Dogs as Clerics feels very right. xd There's a really nice 3d quality to this drawing that i love. like, the tail shape specifically and face and how the paws rest. Ah yeah, I love that! And the design is great. I'm getting more and more into the idea of a pet trade, possible pet with costume trade... hrrahaha if you add more to this, post it!!!  |

hell yeah, wow. that looks great. i can't stop looking at the rainbow tail. you render doghair amazingly in many mediums (even actual hair!). i want him in my party hahaha.

Ahh these are great! I have an idea for mine I just need to get around to putting it on paper...
Ray - That outfit is so cool. Seconding the comment about your sketching/painting looking sculptural. I like that the face is a little bit obscured - it gives them a mysterious edge.
Liz - Yours is so cute and gallant looking. I really like all the detail in the saddle/barding, especially the little rainbow phoenix (?) emblem.

thanks :> drawing mysterious hats is fun. and i also didn't really have a plan for drawing the whole face so that's good. hahaha
I took some ref photos cause violins are evil and added color cause it seemed fun. that was the original thing i wanted to do last week! ah, yeah! i've drawn a couple of things in the past two weeks, that's a record. Attachments:

Not sure if this reeeeaaallly fits the theme but I was inspired to draw my old Star Fox self insert character this morning by Kat's drawings of Rita so thank you for that. Kinda updated to reflect my current state of being. That tattoo on her arm is actually on my calf IRL but the art I really have on my left arm is complicated and I was feeling lazy. My hair also isn't quite that cool (though it is shaved on the sides) but it's fantasy, right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
