Chibi's. Oh yeah. May the chibi's gather here! This thread doesn't have any rules except... art posted must be "chibi"! Heh heh. Feel free to organize chibi trades, or post your own characters as chibis, fanart chibis, etc etc. Chibi! It's an open ended situation, so there's not really a time limit. I like to imagine the chibi cafe is 24 hours, 365 days a week. Maybe we can do "sub challenges" in here, suggesting themes for chibi's, etc. Fun!!

AWWWW YEEAAAAAAH IT'S MY TIME TO SHINE!!! I draw chibis more often than regular-proportioned people because it's easier to not have to worry about proportions, and since most of what I draw are jokes anyway it emphasizes that they shouldn't be taken seriously. So here's Round 1!  This is Phoenix <no last name given>, pirate queen and angy bnuuy extraordinaire! She's based on the breed of rabbit called a hotot- they're all white except for black circles on their eyes that look like eyeshadow. They're PRECIOUS. Phoe, however, is not.  A chibi I did of my friend's VTuber for her birthday! She's very sweet and a dear friend who introduced me to my fiance. I'm very proud of how this turned out.  Speaking of my fiance, I also did a doodle of HIS pngtuber! He loves the bongocat meme so I tried to make a bongocat version of his avatar. It's missing a bunch of major details because I ran out of steam. Even though it's just a doodle, he's used this as his pngtuber when he's on his friends' streams. ;w; |

I am honored to be called chibi instigator >:3 I hope to instigate more. Actually, you know what? Fuck it. If you're reading this I challenge you to draw a chibi of one of your characters (or a character from something you're into at the moment). Ready set go! Ray: Your chibis are so detailed ;; seeing them all together like this makes my eyeballs happy. You know I love all the artwork you've done of my characters. The one of Rupal and Rshi is so like...rich ;; the coloring reminds me of jewels. Love the Elle too. The line art is so nice and clean and you really get a sense of all the little details in her clothing. DJManatee: eeee the chibi queen returns! These are great. You always manage to squeeze so much character into your chibis. Phoenix has such a cool design/color pallet. Did you do that one in open canvas? It has that nice watercolory look. The other two are really cool too. I like the thick outline on the one in the purple sweatshirt. It makes me want stickers of your stuff ;;. Bongocat Fiance makes me happy, hehe. I love the little ear tufties and the overall expression. Ok here's some of mine to start with.

Challenge accepted, and completed! >:3  Grinn: it was actually done in Clip Studio Paint! I sometimes play around with the brushes and coloring tools just to help get rid of the imposter syndrome :'D |

Eee <3 so cute. I love Blue. The detail in her clothes and boots is insane.
Clip studio paint! I bought that when it was half price a few years ago but I haven't messed with it much. I liked inking tools a lot.

Ah yes, the chibi cafe is populating! We have a regular party going on here! i love them all!!! i need to make more, ahhh!!! i have dogs and cats and (turtles) coming out of ears these days but there must be time for chibis!
