Heya. I've been wanting to do one of these since the forum opened but I wasn't sure what to post. I got a really bad case of artist's block starting around 2015 and I'm just now getting back on the horse but I do have a few old things that I still like for one reason or another so that's where I'll start. The art in this post is arranged chronologically from 2011-2021. I've got a few paintings in the works at the moment so hopefully I will be updating with new things soon. In the mean time enjoy these moldy oldies!

Hell yeah, Grinn art!! Ahhhh. moldy oldies, haha. Not to respond in reverse but I seriously love the last drawing so much. Every time I see it I stop and spend a long time looking at it, this time is no exception. I'd buy a print of this and put it on my wall for sure, heh. It has this extremely magical and deeply mythological feel to it, also timeless. It could be a drawing that someone did hundreds of years ago, you know? It breathes with its own history and life and the symbolism seems very personal but at the same time very accessible to anyone, kind of like the lyrics of a song. ANYhow... every single one of these blows me away. The painting of roman on the tree over the alligator! I don't think I've seen that come up lately. and the multi-eyed cat in the shade. are those both paint/watercolor? Also. geode hair person is hawt. Yey I'm glad you made an art thread, wooo. I think I've been in the same boat as you, kinda wanting to make one but not sure what to actually put in it. I too haven't been drawing much, but that's why we're all here I guess. Lookin forward to seeing anything you post here.

Freaking GLORIOUS!! And I'll always get a kick our of seeing Featherfall Iruhi, heh, but all your stuff is just so stunning. Magical, evocative -- so full or story and emotion. Love it all!!

Aahhh thanks you guys :')
Ray - I have a high res file of the big pencil piece so if you ever want a print I could make you one! Glad you like it :3 I had a lot of fun with it. It was one of those drawings that just came together, almost like it was drawing itself. The one with Roman and the alligator and the multi-eyed cat are both oils. The cat is on paper which I didn't gesso very well so it's kind of deteriorating now >< glad I have the scan anyway. The character with crystals for hair is a dnd character I made up for a one shot. I was just kind of trying to make a hawt person so I'm glad you think so :3
Apis - I still really like both of the pieces I did of your doll ;; he's so magical and made a great subject.

Not feeling posting in public right now. Why? I don't know xD. Anyway, I was randomly inspired to draw my Unavisi today and I thought I would drop them here since some of you will know what I'm talking about.

Ahhh i LOVE them, wow. holy shit. they're all so beautiful. the colors. ;;
i never did have unavisi characters, i don't think I was part of that situation and I can't remember the details of it. I just remember thinking they were awesome! Haha. I love all the details in this. i want to see more of them or hear some about them. i remember drawing the one with the scar on her face waaay back in like 2009, haha. i can't remember anything about their stories, though.

I don't remember that much which makes me sad ;; I think most of the writing I did about them is probably on the unavisi LJ community which I can't see because I'm locked out of my LJ account. Alas. Anyway, it was a lot like Calanthra mechanically with a more high fantasy setting. The two on the left are Rabbit and Pig who lived in a nomadic group outside the main city. I think Pig was a hunter and Rabbit was maybe a soothsayer or some other kind of magical profession? The middle two were the first ones I made up, Beech and Orange. They're siblings with a big age difference and no parents so Orange is kinda like her dad. I don't remember what their stories were ;;. The ones on the end are Seahare and Pisces who are soldiers from a different region. I don't think I ever did much with Seahare but Pisces ended up in a relationship with one of Apis' characters and we worked out a whole dramatic story about it :3
