I don't think I've posted on a real forum in well over a decade - this is SO cute and I'm so here for early-web revival. I was a starry-eyed kid doing play-by-post RP on BBS forums in the late 90s & then transitioned to art community forums as a teen. I honestly didn't know folks could still make things like this - thank you for doing it! I'm Ezra (they/them), I'll be 35 next month & I love that I'm not the oldest person here. I live with my queer/trans chosen family on our small farm in western MA, and split my time between working as an illustrator, selling original art/zines/crafts, teaching, farming, and...well, being disabled, honestly, which unfortunately takes up more and more time in the 2020s! But I'm here & very grateful for the life I have. You can find all my links here! Shit I'm into: Jewish magic/mysticism, horror culture/media, vidya games, the indie comics & zine scene, natural history & vulture culture, music of many kinds, cats, antiques & thrifting, lake swimming, mudlarking & beachcombing, queer/trans disabled solidarity, fat lib, being an extremely casual adult goth, naps (!!!) I love sending & receiving mail and would be super excited to do art trades, ATC/ACEO swaps, etc! Pleased to meet y'all. ♥

YeeeEEeeEEsss! I too have not posted on a forum in at least a decade, more or less. And I too didn't know there were still sites out there to create one so I was happy when I came upon it. It really does feel like a great way to communicate and get things done, haha. I'm willing to bet I'm the oldest person here, it's very likely anyway. sometimes I feel too old for the internet x-x. Also that's awesome that you guys live on a farm. At some point I saw a photo of a chicken (or possibly produce stand) on twitter and I was thinking wow, more folks who live on a farm, what are the odds! So that's neat. also mudlarking is awesome (as well as your other interests, yar). Aw wow, I haven't done an ATC swap in forever. I still have several ATC's from friends over a decade ago, kept safe in nice plastic sleeves. Maybe one of these days we can organize an ATC swap. (Speaking of BBS and vidya games, you might like digital: a love story. i've been recommending to people like crazy lately cause it just hits the spot sometimes, haha.) Well, tis nice to meet you Ezra. I'm super glad you joined and it's been fun already!

Hi Ezra! Your work is amazing. The level of detail is incredible in both your line work and more painterly pieces and your imagery is really powerful. I feel inspired!
I'm still getting my brain going for the day so I don't have the most eloquent responses at the moment but hell yes to everything you said. I have really missed doing art trades through the mail and would love to do something like that in the future. Cheers!

So excited to meet you! Fellow Jewish queer here. I LOVE the idea of ATC swaps -- I still treasure my collection!

So lovely to meet you! I had look at your portfolio, and I'm absolutely fascinated. "Six Songs" is amazing. I just saw some art of how angels are really described in ancient texts, and that's so bizarre and terrible.

Ezra, it's so good to meet you- your work is INCREDIBLE! I've never seen it before and it's kind of blowing my mind, lol. Also I LOVE the fact that we have a lot of parallel interests. (You seem a little more outdoorsy than I am, but YAY for horror, queer/trans disability solidarity, fat liberation, and casual adult goth-ing!)
